After the unsucessful run to the White House in 2008, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will in all eventuality mount a campaign for the White House in 2012 going by her public actions and statements.

The White House was designed by the Irish-American architect James Hoban, who had won a architectural design competition in 1792. Hoban’s design is said to have been very similar to a plan from James Gibbs’ “Book of Architecture” (published in 1728). Extra pavillions and porticos were added to the White House later; they were designed by the architect Benjamin Latrobe.

Imagine the splendour and opulence that Sarah Palin and her family has to forgo. I am sure that we will see Sarah Palin’s White House designs 2012 revealed very soon.

Cheers
